Some good lines...by Javed Akhtar..

Ashkon main jaise dhul gaye sab muskarate rang
Raste main thak ke so gayi masoom si umang
Dil hai ke phir bhi khwab sajane ka shauk hai
paththar pe bhi gulab ugane ka shauk hai
Barson se yun to ak amavas ki rat hai
ab isko hausla kahoon, ke jid ki bat hai
Dil kahta hai ki andehre main bhi raushni to hai
mana ki rakh ho gaye ummid ke aalav
is rakh main bhi aag kahin par dabi to hai......

The last Mile......

The real problem with the last trimester of MBA is that nobody remains motivated to prove whatever he continuously rhymed for previous two years. Presentations and exams looks gross wastage of time. Condition gets bad to worse once if u have not secured a job till then. Same is the case now with most of the guys for batch of 2009. Anyway they are only a part of the problem.
There are other issues like college generally reserve worst teachers (So called Professors!!) and subjects for the last trimester. They are highly boring but will try to make the things interesting by telling u the loopholes and shortcomings of present systems. They generally forget that only their forefathers invented those systems.
One of our subjects is focused on personal wealth management. Teacher would always like to remind you that if u r doing MBA then u r one of the greatest fool at this earth. He has a strong disgust towards historically wise/honest/ethical things. I would like to tell u one favourite dialogue of the teacher of this subject" illegal hai, immoral hai, unethical hai....but kya Karen karna padta hai". It’s like telling students about corruption and also asking them to join the bandwagon of corruption. After this he will ask the students, to raise the hands if they r not confirming his views. He will pass some comments on the students who r not confirming his views.
Next class will be "Values & ethics in Management".
This class will be like a "SATSANG". Teacher is a renowned retired chairman of one big PSU institution and he is member of board of at least 15 big companies. The best thing about him is that he is honest, very liberal and supportive. He is like that because he has seen that in PSU everyone is equal so no need to waste your effort towards over highlighted things. Generally in exams/evaluation this equality is maintained and same case study is presented by all the students.
Outliers (Innovative solutions creators!!!) are given the appropriate treatment not only by teachers but students also charge harassment tax.

After that comes the subject: "Priority sector landings", which is a niche subject and require
the teacher who can give a feel of this subject(Mentally, physically and vocally). Here the matching (teacher and subject) is at its best. Even after 2 hrs of the class you will have a very strong feel of backward sector. College management is still deciding that this subject is outdated or teacher is outdated.
Final subject is related to IT management. We have already been honoured once with this kind of subject in first trimester. Both the teachers (first trim and last trim) are real competitor, first one never wanted to speak and second one never want to stop.90 minutes of this class seems like a whole day. Although, God has sent some of the saviours like our dear FINACLE module leader, one CSO (Cheap strategy officer), one logical innovator and few opportunists.
Anyway ma'am stumped the module leader itself in some of the classes and after that everyone seems to be careful. Anyhow we have passed 3 months of the trimester and now ready to give exams.
Please pray for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Gossips.....the real taste of Bschools......

Gossips…..the word that gives life to a Bschool…….everybody wants it…..everybody participate in it and everybody reproduce it with his own new versions. So what is there in the gossip that is not there in class discussions/debate competitions? Actually gossips give us the pleasure to exercise our right to freedom of speech. Probability of a gossip directly increases with the square of number of girls in the class. Generally gossips are the easily available topics with a tint of jealousy (hope u r getting:-)) and fully impartial to the cast, creed, religion and language. Even a person from Maharashtra can be associated with a girl from Bihar (with due hate to Mr Raj Thakre) without a single evidence. Everybody is eager to believe, broadcast and act. Gossips are the true example of unity in diversity. They are the testimony of the progress of India in communication technology. In the minutes any of religious events (inside college or outside, temple or…even abroad)…..you can even get a well written report from anyone in the class with an in depth analysis with historical background. There is no scope of any surprise test in the case of gossips. Everybody will be a topper and it is impossible to decide who the winner is. Everyone settles the score in this game even at the slightest loose ball. There is no friction in group formation also here….everyone plays his role to the best and whole team try to create a fuss about nothing :-)……… actually everyone feels he is fighting for a common cause and if he is not giving the full contribution towards the latest happening he might be considered a defaulter of right to information act. Disclosure norms are strict but you can always take the advantage of selective exposure and inclined emotions:-) (and i am not talking about toppers)..... ..So in the end thanks to all gossip mongers who makes the college so colourful:-)…we are waiting for the new sensation………………… .

Class of MBA's :-)

I have seen many famous B schools of this country and Unfortunately i am the student of the one. Some times i really doubt that are these schools really adding any social value or are the product of these B schools really a better human being after completing this over-hyped degree.

Generally you will find in a class of 40 students, 8-10 girls will be there..so leave them apart for fighting among themselves only..also they only come to class for general updates and to tell the other classmates, how much shopping they have done yesterday and how much effort they spent in stopping them selves but it was of no use. Even if u r not interested they will try to complete their speech (Of course in presence of teacher) and after getting ignored they will categorise u as a nerd :-).

In rest of the students...5-7 potential political leaders will be in the class....who will always distract the teacher as well as the class towards futile things..with their weird logics. These people knows, nobody wants to hear their garbage on the useless issues but they hardly get chance to convince the class about their knowledge and shrewdness..so any current issue in the college will be portrayed as issue of masses....and a futile effort of garnering public applause will be executed....after that they will not be seen for 4-5 days......

Now about the third section of the class....who is ignorant. Who is doing whatever others are doing and who can be poached easily by above politicians at the time of decision on any issue. They don't have the knowledge of right or wrong ...they can only rely on the description given by near and dears....they are same kind of people who can be compared with the masses who will vote for Mayavati beacause their neighbour is doing that....i pray they will not be the same after completing the study......

Now comes the last section of the class, which is helpless due to above three sections :-). These people are forced to share the burden of the fools of their class......the only benefit is that they become adaptive to survive in any condition :-)Believe me guys..degrees cannot give you common sense and values....these two things come from your family back ground and parents.....I hope that in other colleges situation should not be like that...if it is same kindly write it down in the comment .....we will feel equally blessed.......
